Description

The Equinox Asteroid RGBW LED Mirrorball Effect Light is built for DJs event spaces and venues needing a powerful centrepiece with sharp high-energy visuals. It uses five 40W RGBW LEDs to generate 98 crisp 2-degree beams delivering a room-filling effect that cuts through haze and ambient light. The 5-section LED control lets you create layered multi-colour chases while its range of modes (DMX sound active auto and primary/secondary) makes it easy to drop into any setup. Quick to rig with the included omega clamp and PowerTwist/XLR connections the Asteroid also features an OLED menu for direct control or can be operated via an optional CA 8 controller.

More info about this Product

Effect Lights

Effect lights create moving, rotating, patterned or multi-beam visuals for dance floors, parties and live performance. Derby, flower, water, mirror and multi-effect fixtures differ in coverage, movement, colour, sound activation and DMX control, so the most useful choice depends on venue size and desired atmosphere.

LED

Uses light-emitting diodes rather than a conventional discharge or halogen lamp. LED fixtures can offer lower power consumption, long source life, rapid colour changes and compact construction, but output, colour quality and dimming smoothness still vary significantly.

RGBW

Adds a dedicated white emitter to red, green and blue, improving white light, pastel colours and brightness compared with RGB mixing alone.
