LED

Uses light-emitting diodes rather than a conventional discharge or halogen lamp. LED fixtures can offer lower power consumption, long source life, rapid colour changes and compact construction, but output, colour quality and dimming smoothness still vary significantly.

Wash

A moving-head mode or design intended to spread a broad field of colour rather than a sharply defined image. Zoom range and edge softness determine coverage.
